ANNOUNCING THE 2010-2011 EXECUTIVE BOARD

Tonight, Thursday November 18, 2010, the Harvard Republican Club elected the 2010-2011 Executive Board.

The Club elected Michael W. McLean ’12 to serve as President.

The remaining members of the board are as follows:

Kevin R. Palmer ’13, Vice President for Campaigns and Activism

Derek J. Bekebrede ’13, Vice President for Speakers and Political Discourse

Molly A. Wehlage ’13, Vice President for Social Events

Tian Wang ’12, Treasurer

Aditi Ghai ’14, Secretary

Luciana E. Milano ’14, Membership and Publicity Director

“I am confident that the new board will provide the strong leadership that the Republican Club needs,” said outgoing President Mark A. Isaacson ’11.  “Founded in 1888, the HRC is the oldest college Republican organization in the country, and I know the new board will ensure that it also remains the best Republican club in the nation.”

Rachel L. Wagley ’11, outgoing Vice President for Campaigns and Activism, said, “I am certain that the Club will be in good hands.”

Isaacson added, “It was a pleasure to work alongside the outgoing board, all of whom I consider my friends—Rachel L. Wagley ’11, Luis A. Martinez ’12, Kevin R. Palmer ’13, Michael W. McLean ’12, Jordan A. Monge ’12, and Derek. J. Bekebrede ’13.”
